Unila and Charles Sturt University Officially Established an International Academic Partnership

The Rector of Unila, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., IPM., ASEAN Eng., and the Vice-Chancellor of Charles Sturt University, Prof. Renée Leon, PSM, after signing the MoU

Bandar Lampung, March 4, 2024 — The University of Lampung (Unila) officially established an international partnership with Charles Sturt University (CSU), Australia, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on March 4, 2024. The signing ceremony was facilitated by PT Gistrav Ontrip Asia (Gotravindo Educational Travel), which acted as a liaison between the two educational institutions.

This partnership aimed to strengthen academic capacity and provided broader access for Unila students and lecturers to participate in international programs, including student exchange, joint research collaboration, and curriculum development.

The Rector of Unila, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., IPM., ASEAN Eng., stated that the partnership was part of Unila’s strategic efforts to internationalize the campus and enhance its global reputation in higher education.

The Vice-Chancellor of Charles Sturt University, Prof. Renée Leon, PSM, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership and emphasized the importance of cross-country collaboration in building sustainable and inclusive education.

A representative from PT Gistrav Ontrip Asia stated that the company would continue to play an active role in connecting Indonesian educational institutions with leading universities worldwide to support the advancement of national education.

With the signing of this MoU, Unila and CSU committed to creating a collaborative, innovative academic ecosystem that is open to future global challenges.
